School Social Worker Opening | 2024-2025 School Year | West Point, MS

ProCare Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a school social worker in the West Point, MS area. If you are looking for an amazing new position and would like to have an impact of children's lives, this is the role for you!

Duties:
•    Counseling students with emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
•    Collaborating with school staff to create supportive environment for the students
•    Developing and implementing programs focused on preventing issues like bullying, substance abuse, or mental health challenges
•    Managing individual cases by coordinating services from various agencies or professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students and families
•    Maintaining accurate records of interactions with students and families, assessments, interventions, and progress reports

To Be Considered: 
You must have:
1.    Master’s degree in social work
2.    LMSW or LCSW
3.    Experience in school setting preferred but also open to new graduates
